Polson Middle School
Dear PMS Students and Families,
Speaking for myself and every adult in the building, we miss you. This place is not the same without your energy and enthusiasm.
We have finished our first day of Learn From Home enrichment activities. How did it go? How did it go for your children? If you would like to share thoughts, photos, or videos, please email Mrs. Lapierre at clapierre@polson.k12.mt.us and she will post them to our PMS social media pages. While these activities are ungraded, they are worthwhile because they keep students engaged and provide necessary review. We know that having kids learn at home will occasionally present some challenges, but we hope to post the positive things you may be doing as a family to support learning during this difficult time.
Finally, I would like to thank our staff, beginning with those who have prepared and delivered many meals per day for students. I would like to thank PMS teachers who will continue to go above and beyond to thoughtfully engage students, while trying to learn a distance-education model. I would like to thank our custodians, para educators, building secretaries, and technology department, all of whom had important duties they fulfilled during the last week, while taking precautions to be safe. Lastly, I would like to thank parents and families for working so hard to keep our young people learning and safe.
Take care, practice social distance, and Go Pirates,
Mr. Yarbrough
