Registration Instructions

Step 1- Register your student using the link below.  Registrations will be processed in the order they are received.

Step 2- Call the school to schedule your appointment.

Step 3- Check your email for a confirmation of your registration, and instructions on creating a Powerschool parent account. 

KINDERGARTEN REQUIREMENTS

  • Student must reside within Polson School District boundaries
  • Student must turn 5 on or before September 10, 2026 
  • Student must be fully potty-trained to attend.
    • Children should be able to use the restroom independently.
    • Wearing pull-ups indicates a child is still in the process of potty training and does not meet this requirement.

LEAP REQUIREMENTS*

  • Student must reside within Polson School District boundaries
  • Student must turn 4 on or before September 10, 2026 
  • Student must be fully potty-trained to attend.
    • Children should be able to use the restroom independently.
    • Wearing pull-ups indicates a child is still in the process of potty training and does not meet this requirement.
  • Parents must sign a waiver for student to be assessed using MyIGDIs literacy measure
  • Students must qualify for the program based on the MyIGDIs assessment

*This will be the first year that this program will be full-day.

WHAT TO BRING TO YOUR APPOINTMENT

  • Your Student
  • Parent/Guardian ID (driver’s license or equivalent)
  • Student's birth certificate
  • Student’s immunization record or notarized religious exemption
  • Proof of residency in the Polson School District is required. Examples of acceptable documents include:
  • Current utility bill (electric, water, gas)
    • Lease or rental agreement
    • Mortgage statement or property tax document
    • Official mail from a government agency
    • Home purchase paperwork or closing documents
  • Tribal paperwork (if applicable): Child’s Tribal ID or enrollment documentation and/or parent/guardian Tribal ID or enrollment documentation.
