College Scholarship Application and Instructions
All application materials must be received by February 14, 2025
The Polson Scholarship and Education Foundation was established in 2002. One of the major purposes of the foundation is to provide financial assistance to students continuing their education after graduating from Polson High School. Scholarships will be awarded to students attending any accredited post-secondary school to include vocational programs and two or four year schools. Community and school involvement, academic achievement, and future plans will be considered. Scholarships will be distributed directly to the school the applicant will be attending. Scholarship awards range up to $2000.

To complete the application, fill out the on-line form and upload the following:
- Comprehensive resume to include goals, school activities, community activities, honors/awards, volunteer experience, and employment.
- Required essay. One essay is required.
Essay Topic:
Describe a time when you had to step out of your comfort zone and take a risk. What did you learn from that experience? (500 words)
Essays must be 12 pt Times Roman, double-spaced, and maximum of 500 words.
You also need to mail the following:
- Transcript – mail one current, official or unofficial transcript.
- Letters of recommendation – mail two current (within the past 6 months) letters of recommendation, dated and signed. At least one letter must be from school personnel and at least one must be from a community member.
- Current Photo – mail one current photo with your name and date on the back.
