Principal Fors would like to share some exciting news about our Polson High School Cheer Team!

At the end of February., the Polson High School  Cheerleading Competition team competed in the USA Virtual Regional Competition.  The squad won 1st place and received a high enough score to receive a bid to the USA Spirit Nationals Competition.  In April, the team submitted their video for the first round of finals and received a bid to championships.

On May 2nd, it was announced that the Polson High School Cheerleading Team placed 3rd in the nation.

2020/2021 was an unbelievable year. The team starts practicing in June and isn't done until the conclusion of basketball season.  This year, they went an additional month so we were able to compete.  This team made history by competing in the USA cheerleading competition (no other PHS team or Montana team has competed before!)  and placing 3rd was a huge accomplishment for a 1st year team.

This accomplishment was only made possible by the absolute dedication of the athletes who are a part of the PHS Cheer team.
