Rex Merritt brought in a map of the area and pinpointed The Log School and The Brown School/Spring Hill location and loaned his picture collection. He and Don Corrigan confirmed the locations of the four schools of Irvine Flats on the large 1923 County Map. Don’s mother, Gladys Liss, attended the school.

The Lake County Superintendent of Schools maintains a copy. Individual census/school records after 1923 are alphabetized in files in the vault of the Lake County Courthouse available for copy for verification.
